Full List Of Winners At 2015 AFRIFF Globe Awards


The 2015 edition of the Africa International Film Festival closed on Friday, November 13, with an award ceremony tagged the Globe Awards. 


Renowned movie producer, Clarence Peters’ debut movie, Hex won ‘Best Short Film,’ while Ishaya Bako’s ‘Silent Tears’ nabbed the ‘Audience Choice Awards.’

Best Short Film – ‘Hex’

Best Student Short Film – ‘Joy’

Best Animation – ‘Legacy of Rubies’

Best Short Film on the Continent – ‘Alma’

Audience Choice Awards – ‘Silent Tears’

Best Actor - Charlie Vundla

Best Actress – Fulu Makhovami (Ayanda)

Best Screenplay – ‘The Price of Love’

Best Documentary – ‘E18HTEAM’

Oronto Douglas Award for Best Nigerian Film – Reflections (Desmond Elliot)

Best Director – Raja Amari 

Best Feature Film – ‘Fevers’

The festival was held in Lagos, Nigeria from the 8th – 15th November, 2015
AFRIFF is celebrated in Nigeria every November.
AFRIFF’s first edition was in 2010.
This edition did not only celebrate African cinema but demonstrated once more that the cinematic storytelling industry in Africa has become more compelling and visible.
