Ice Prince and Yakubu Gowon
Chocolate City rapper Ice Prince yesterday, December 13 saw former Nigerian head of state Rtd. General Yakubu Gowon aboard a flight.
Ice Prince and the retired general who were on the same flight had a brief chat where Ice Prince found out that they are from the same tribe in Plateau state.
Ice Prince shared the selfie they took together with caption “Ran into Former Nigerian Head of State General Yakubu Gowon. Ruled #Nigeria at Age 32! Interesting thing is that we both share the same tribe called Angas (That many might not have heard of) from Plateau state. God uplifts the Minority.”
Ice Prince was in New York recently with other celebrities like Jay Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono and more at the 2015 Global Citizen Festival.
